We have tested this upgrade over the last six months and we have found it gave the Microphase SATs a new life at a very low cost.
We then embarked into the design of this retrofit kit which fits exactly in place of the original Audax TW51 tweeter.
It comes preassembled on a painted 3mm birch plywood with new cap screws and a matching Allen key and includes a proprietary VIFA tweeter.
This kit will improve the upper midrange, and power handling , extend the frequency range to 30KHz, and gives a much smoother and detailed rendition of timbres from 4kHz up. A very small investment which will give a new life to your Microphase speakers
